2017 was a year of incredible accomplishments punctuated by:

• a midget aged (2002/2003) provincial team title
• 7 national championship medals
• 52 provincial championship medals  
• 2 individuals (Emily Branderhorst (silver medal, high jump) and Tony Elliott (hammer)) competed for Team Ontario at the Canada Summer Games in Winnipeg
• 2 individuals (Jeremy Elliott and Ryan Jacklin) competed for Team Ontario at the National Legion Youth Track Championships in Brandon
• 4 individuals (Jeremy Elliott, Ryan Jacklin, Emily Bryce and Samantha Fischer) competed for Team Ontario at the Quebec/Ontario midget dual meet
• 2 club athletes named provincial athletes of the year in their disciplines (Ben Brewer bantam boy throws & Jeremy Elliott midget boy throws)
• 9 OFSAA track and field championship medals
• Coach Millar was named the throws coach for Team Ontario at the Canada Summer Games
• Founders and coaches Earl and Geordie Farrell were inducted into the Saugeen Shores Hall of Fame
